Kim Il Sung Praised by Political Figure of DR Congo

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The Korean people achieved the national liberation, became dignified people in the international arena and worked a miracle of defeating the U.S. and Japanese imperialists under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the sun of the nation.

Jimmy Kikoni, general secretary of the Workers' Party of DR Congo, said this in a statement on Aug. 8 to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The statement went on:

The President, who embarked upon the road of struggle to liberate his country and nation, founded the Juche idea which defined that the popular masses are masters of revolution and construction and they promote the revolution and construction.

The Juche idea was successfully applied in the DPRK.

Its vitality and validity are proved by the achievements made by the Korean people under the leadership of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK turned into a harmonious whole where all the people are united in single mind around the leader.

The Workers' Party of Korea enjoys the absolute support from the popular masses.

Thus, socialist Korea is advancing in defiance of the imperialist allied forces' aggression moves.

The DPRK will emerge victorious and prosperous, displaying its dignity before the world under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
