The participants laid a bouquet before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Chongjin City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captains and crewmen of Niue-flagged ship Hao Fan 6 and Hao Fan 2.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il performed feats before the country, revolution, the era and history, providing energetic Songun leadership for a long period since he started the Songun revolutionary leadership.

They went on:

Thanks to his Songun leadership, the Korean people could smash every invasion move and challenge of the imperialists and thus creditably protect the dignity of the nation and sovereignty of the country.

He categorically thwarted the moves of the imperialists and international reactionaries to infringe upon the sovereignty and dignity of other countries and nations and led to victory the cause of human independence for building a new peaceful world by dint of Songun politics.

They expressed the belief that the Korean people would always enjoy victories and glories thanks to the Songun idea founded by the preceding leaders and under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
