Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., UAWK, and other speakers said that Kim Jong Il started his Songun revolutionary leadership by visiting the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on Aug. 25, Juche 49 (1960) and this was a historic event which declared that the Korean revolution that started and has advanced with the arms has entered the new era for successfully accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Thanks to his Songun leadership, the Korean revolution could make a long drive despite all storms of history, they said, and went on:

Thanks to his high-intensity forced march of patriotic devotion, the service personnel and people of the DPRK could work historic miracles unprecedented in the history of mankind.

He provided a solid foundation for achieving prosperity of the country and carrying forward to completion the revolutionary cause of Juche. Thanks to his Songun revolutionary exploits, the service personnel and people of the DPRK are dynamically advancing toward the final victory holding aloft the banner of Songun under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The speakers called upon all the officials of UAWK and agricultural workers to fulfill duties as masters responsible for the granary of the country on the agricultural front, who work on the first line trench of the first echelon in defending socialism upholding the banner of Songun.
