Congratulatory Visits Paid to DPRK Missions

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- Delegations of governments, political parties, organizations and personages of different countries paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries from August 10 to 15 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their full-length pictures and paid tribute to them. They included delegations of the Ministry of the Royal Palace of Cambodia, the Taekwon-Do Association of Cambodia and the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar. They also included the former prime minister of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh who is minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism of Bangladesh, the director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, the manager of Snow Tour and Tourist Company Ltd, of Myanmar, the chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea, the chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, the chairman of the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea. Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry of Myanmar sent a floral basket on behalf of the Myanmar government. An international school in Myanmar, the president of the Socialist Party of Benin, the co-chairman of the Council of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, the general manager of the Golden Trip Travel Service Co. Ltd. and the chairperson of the Emperor Group, Hong Kong of China, and the chief secretary of the Zhonghwa Energy Fund and the Swedish honorary consul in Myanmar sent floral baskets to the DPRK missions. A deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace of Cambodia said that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are not only the eternal fathers of the Korean people but also close friends and benefactors of the Cambodian people. The president of the Socialist Party of Benin said the exploits of Korea's liberation by Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, will be immortal. |
