The statement of the Russian party expressed indignation and concern over the extremely dangerous situation on the Korean peninsula.

The U.S. and south Korean authorities are bitterly denounced by the world as they intentionally pushed the situation to the brink of war, it said, and went on:

It is a trite method employed by the U.S. imperialists to invent a pretext for invasion of a sovereign state by cooking up a shocking case.

The sanctions and blackmail persisted by the U.S. and its followers against the peace-loving DPRK can never check its political and economic development.

The U.S. can neither startle nor bring to knees the service personnel and people of the DPRK who are well aware of what a war is like.

The Socialist Party of Benin in its statement fully supported the measure of the DPRK to let the frontline large combined units of the Korean People's Army move to a war footing and to put the area along the front on semi-state of war. It expressed firm belief that the service personnel and people of the DPRK will surely win the final victory in the struggle to defend sovereignty of the country.
