Kim Il Sung's Exploits Praised in Different Countries
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The Russian paper Tsumenskaya Pravda on Aug. 6 carried an article titled "For building country of people" with the photo dealing with the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung, picture of the Monument to Party Founding and photos showing the might of the heroic Korean People's Army.

The article said:

General Kim Il Sung founded the Workers' Party of Korea on October 10, 1945 on the basis of the solid organizational and ideological foundation he laid in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle.

He developed the Korean People's Revolutionary Army into the regular revolutionary armed forces and founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on September 9, 1948.

He built a powerful independent and sovereign state after abolishing the remnants of the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists in a short span of time.

The Mongolian paper Odriin Sonin on Aug. 15 carried an article with the portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung. It said:

He led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and achieved the liberation of the country.

He turned Korea into the invincible socialist fortress independent, self-supporting and self-defensive.

The DPRK has never made a step back from the way chosen by itself but firmly defended its own ideology, social system and cause for 70 years.

The Zambian paper Post on Aug. 13 carried an article with the photo of the President.
