S. Korean Workers Hold Large Meeting in Seoul
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- At least 15 000 south Korean workers held a meeting in the plaza before the Seoul City Office on Aug. 22 in protest against the puppet group's move for restructuring the labor market.

Speakers said that they could not repress their anger at the "government", ruling party and conservative media labeling the workers demanding stable job and wage increase "extremists".

They declared they would certainly break shackles such as lay-off and wage cut by their concerted efforts and seek the earliest possible solutions of matters including cut down of working hours and abolition of the part-time job.

Noting that they would never become puppets of the "government", they appealed to all the workers to struggle in a do-or-die spirit.
