Second U-15 International Football Games for Ari Sports Cup Held

| Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The Second U-15 International Football Games for Ari Sports Cup was held at the May Day Stadium in the DPRK from Aug. 21 to 24. It brought together the April 25 Team and the Pyongyang International Football School Team of the DPRK, the Atletico Sorocaba Team of Brazil, the Team of Uzbekistan, the Kunming City Team of China, the Team of Croatia and the Kyonggi Provincial Team and the South Korean Kangwon Provincial Team. Divided into A and B groups, they played league matches. Top two teams from each group-the April 25 Team, the Atletico Sorocaba Team, the Pyongyang International Football School Team and the Team of Uzbekistan-played semi-finals. The April 25 Team and the Pyongyang International Football School Team advanced to the finals. The April 25 Team placed first, the Pyongyang International Football School Team second the Atletico Sorocaba Team third. Cup and medals were awarded to the successful teams and individual prizes to the excellent players and coaches. |
