DPRK Shows No Mercy to Provokers
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- The servicepersons and civilians of the DPRK now strongly demand that deadly strikes be inflicted on the south Korean military gangsters who dared provoked it with the backing of the United States.

Historically, the DPRK has punished without mercy any aggressors and provokers.

In 1968 when the U.S. spy ship "Pueblo" was captured by the Korean People's Army for its intrusion into territorial waters of the DPRK for espionage, the U.S. amassed huge armed forces in and around the Korean Peninsula to put military pressure upon it.

The DPRK responded to such action with the tough stand of retaliation for retaliation and all-out war for all-out war, and eventually the U.S. could not but make a written apology to it.

In April 1969, the DPRK mercilessly downed a U.S. large-sized spy plane, EC-121, which flew into its territorial sky for espionage aimed to provoke a war.

When U.S. troops committed the Panmunjom incident on August 18, 1976, the KPA civil policemen heavily punished the provokers.

Such instances include the case of shooting down a U.S. army helicopter in December 1994 and the Yonphyong Island incident that took place a few years ago.

All the cases clearly show that any provokers are doomed to destruction.
