Japanese Reactionaries Try to Revive Militarism
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Japan is intensifying the moves to remilitarize itself, according to the south Korean Yonhap News on August 19.

The Defense Ministry of Japan increased defense budget for next year to be the biggest in history. It was reported that the ministry earmarked about 5 trillion and 91.1 billion yen as a military fund for next year.

In recent ten years Japan has spent huge amounts of military fund to massively import MV-22 Ospreys from the U.S., introduce weapons and deploy the "Self-Defense Forces" for action.

Japan has become desperate to remilitarize itself by craftily increasing budget under the pretext of defense every year.

Meanwhile, Japan is getting more shameless to distort the history.

The south Korean Seoul Sinmun on August 20 disclosed that Japan is openly showing its ambition for grabbing Tok Islets and denying its past history of aggression.

According to the paper, the Foreign Ministry of Japan on August 19 planned to publish textbooks in 46 languages to internationally expand its brigandish assertion over the issues of Tok Islets and the past history.

Japan has already named in textbooks Tok Islets "part of Japan's inalienable territory" and deleted part dealing with the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.
