Bangladeshi Political Parties, Organizations and Figures Support DPRK's Self-Defensive Measures
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Political parties, organizations and political figures of Bangladesh in statements on Aug. 22 and 23 supported the self-defensive measures taken by the DPRK to smash the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group's moves to ignite a war.

The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh expressed serious concern over the fact that south Korea made fabrications in the area along the Military Demarcation Line and resumed the anti-DPRK broadcasts for psychological warfare, pushing the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh bitterly denounced the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group for their reckless war provocation moves and expressed firm solidarity for the Korean people in their struggle for defending the social system chosen by themselves and the sovereignty of the country.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist) said that the U.S. and south Korea kicked off the joint military drills and made fabrications to lead the situation on the peninsula to an extreme phase at a time when all the service personnel of the DPRK are carrying on the dynamic struggle to greet the 70th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea as a grand festival.

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League who double as chairman of the Bangladesh Self-Reliance Research Centre, expressed the belief that the DPRK government and people will surely win in the confrontation with provocateurs, adding they are bound to meet a miserable end.

The Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea said that progressives aspiring after independence come to know well that the escalating situation on the Korean Peninsula is attributable to the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces' hostile policy, war drills and continuous arms provocation.
