Tokyo, August 24 (KNS-KCNA) -- The Tokyo international seminar-70 years after war took place in Japan on August 22 on the issue of Japan's liquidation of the past and peace in East Asia. He called for building up fair public opinion conducive to achieving peace on the Korean Peninsula and in East Asia. Ramsey Clark, former attorney general of the U.S., in a video letter said the Korean people suffered war disaster imposed by the U.S., and big powers are now posing military threats to the Korean Peninsula and East Asia. A declaration was adopted at the seminar. It called for working hard to pressurize the Japanese government to admit the legal blame for aggression and colonial domination and make an apology and reparation for them and to achieve peaceful reunification on the basis of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. |
