It offered teachers and researchers of Kim Il Sung University and prestigious scientists of various universities and research institutions of the world a meaningful occasion of exchanging research successes of academic value in fields of mathematics and medical, life and agricultural sciences.

Present at the closing ceremony were Thae Hyong Chol, president of Kim Il Sung University and minister of Higher Education, teachers and researchers of the university and the participants in the symposium.

A letter to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.
