The letter said the symposium on the theme of "Scientific development and building of highly civilized nation" was a meaningful gathering that offered an opportunity of furthering exchanges, friendship and cooperation between foreign universities and Kim Il Sung University with a view to enhancing the pioneer role of science and actively contributing to the building of a highly civilized country.

The symposium helped see the resourceful Korean people building a highly civilized socialist country by dint of modern science and technology under the outstanding guidance of His Excellency Kim Jong Un, the letter said, adding this convinced them of the bright future of the DPRK.

All the scholars who took part in the symposium shared an understanding that active exchanges with Kim Il Sung University with huge academic potential would be beneficial to developing human science and building a highly civilized society, the letter noted.

The letter reiterated the will to make efforts to develop multi-faceted exchanges and cooperation with Kim Il Sung University on the basis of the achievements and experience gained during the symposium.
