DPRK Strives to Boost Production of Processed Laver

| Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Ministry of Fisheries concentrates efforts on raising the output of laver and its processed products, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to supply nutritious laver to the citizens on a normal basis. Practical measures were taken to create several hundred hectares of laver nursery in the west sea of the country and establish a new method of cultivating laver. Meanwhile, the ministry is striving to update the laver processing factories and build another factory with a large capacity at the Pupho Offshore Farm. |
