The Japan Defence Ministry clarified it would intensify information sharing with the U.S. Aegis warships in order to enhance the effect of a missile shield, according to Jiji Press Ltd of Japan.

It is mulling introducing this system to the new two Aegis warships of the Maritime "Self-Defense Force" to be built and put it into operation from 2020.

This means Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defence" and the "Self-Defense Forces'" sharing information for shielding U.S. warships from missiles.

The Japanese government already submitted to the Diet security bills for defending U.S. warships with the mission of transporting Japanese and monitoring missiles in waters off Japan, and the bills are now under discussion at the House of Councilors.

The Japan Defence minister also stressed the necessity of "sharing information between Japan and the U.S. for a missile shield."

All facts clearly prove that Japan-U.S. military nexus has reached a dangerous phase with an aim at militarist revival and reinvasion of the Korean Peninsula.
