Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers and officials of various units including the Branch Academy of Fishery and the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences, Kim Il Sung University, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Wonsan University of Fisheries, South Phyongan, North Phyongan and South Hwanghae Provincial Fishery Management Bureaus.

The participants heard more than 80 valuable papers conducive to settling issues arising in fisheries and fish farming.

During the presentation there took place a lecture on technology on developing measuring instrument of water quality for fish farming and some issues arising in putting fish farming on a scientific and intensive basis.

At a closing ceremony on Thursday certificates were awarded to those who presented excellent papers.
