Awarding ceremonies took place in different parts of the country.

According to decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, a wrist watch bearing the august name of President Kim Il Sung was conferred upon Rim Thae Sim and citations of supreme leader Kim Jong Un upon Kim Song Nam, Cha Myong Chol, Jong Song Bok, Pak Song Hun, Ri Sun Chol and Kim Chol Su.

Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize went to Ri Kum Chol, Kim Yong Nam, Kim Sun Il, Jo Hyok Chol, Kim Chang Ho, Kim Jun Chol, An Kyong Hui, Kim Kyong Ae, Kwon Sun Nam, O Hye Sim, Ri Jong Chol, Kim Kye Sung and Choe Yong Sim, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Choe Song Gon, Han Ung, Jon Song Chol, Ri Hyon Min, Kim Song Hyon, Kim Su Jong, Ju Chun Song, Song Yun Hui, Han Hyon Ok, Ri Un Byol, Ri Kyong Sim, Kim Kwang Il and O Chol Jin.

The Order of National Flag First Class was awarded to 10 persons, Order of Labour to 3, Order of National Flag Second Class to 166, Order of National Flag Third Class to 362 and Medal of Merit to 786.

Honor Medal for Service in the Speed Campaign Youth Shock Brigade was awarded to 3 284 officers and members of the Speed Campaign Youth Shock Brigade and the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade.
