The evening gala started amid the playing of the song "March of Korean Youth".

All the participants danced in deep reverence for Marshal Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new heyday of the Korean youth movement true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

They danced to the tune of "Whistling Boy" and other merry songs. Reflected on their faces were pride and self-esteem as members of the young vanguard in the Songun era.

"Youth and Courage", "Victory Will Be Won Generation after Generation" and other songs resounded forth, revving up the festive atmosphere.

Overseas Koreans and foreign guests joined youth and students in cheerful dances.
