Russian Body Hails DPRK's Measures for Peace

| Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK on August 23 made public a statement in denunciation of the U.S. and south Korean authorities' Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drills (UFG). The statement said: The U.S. and south Korean authorities staged the joint military drills to stifle the DPRK by mobilizing huge armed forces for aggression. The south Korean people demand a stop to UFG which is worsening the situation on the Korean Peninsula. But the south Korean authorities are cracking down on the people. We support all the measures and stand of the DPRK for protecting peace on the Korean Peninsula. The international community should clearly know who are true aggressors. The world people do not want a horrible war. |
