10-odd objects in the sports village is now being renovated at a fast tempo, among them ice hockey gymnasium, speed skating rink, alpine skiing ground and lodging quarters for sportspersons.

Besides the sports village, more than 50 objects in the county are built or repaired, including Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace, Samjiyon County Hall of Culture and Pegaebong Noodle House, while minor power stations undergo technical modernization.
