The Russian paper Bremya Peremon Plus TV said a new era of building a thriving socialist nation opened up in the DPRK thanks to HE Kim Jong Il who held aloft the banner of Songun.

The eye-opening reality in the DPRK always emerging victorious by dint of the single-minded unity would be unthinkable without his Songun leadership exploits, it added.

Iran News praised him as a peerlessly brilliant commander of Songun, saying the DPRK has firmly defended its sovereignty and dignity in the confrontation with the U.S. for over half a century since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Syrian paper Al Baath noted the undying exploits of HE Kim Jong Il who laid an eternal foundation for everlasting prosperity of the country and the nation with his outstanding and experienced Songun leadership will shine forever along with the Day of Songun in the DPRK.

The Kuwaiti paper Al Shahid said the Korean people are celebrating the Day of Songun every year, adding Songun means going along the road of socialism without any slightest deviation and it is the symbol of independence and dignity.

The Bangladeshi paper Daily Folk carried an article dealing with the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il and successes being made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in their efforts for building a thriving nation and reunifying the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
