Seen standing before the grave was a wreath sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Vice-Premier Ri Mu Yong, Kim Yong Dae, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party, Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, working people's organizations, national institutions and educational institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

A wreath in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK was laid before the grave.

Also laid were wreaths in the names of working people's organizations, national institutions, revolutionary schools and the party and power organs, universities and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants paid silent tribute, recollecting the career of Kim Po Hyon.
