Tha Win, secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said it was a great event that President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948, adding:

The DPRK turned into a political and ideological power and a military power in which all people are single-mindedly united under the leadership of the President and HE Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, is steering the struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people for building a thriving nation and reunifying the country to victory.

Rosy is the future of the DPRK dynamically advancing toward the final victory and only victory and glory will be in store for the Korean people.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, praised the DPRK founded and developed by the President and Kim Jong Il for always emerging victorious under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, expressing belief that the Korean people dynamically advancing under the unfurled banner of socialism and independence against imperialism would surely win victory.
