On display in the venue of the meeting were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and other pictures on their revolutionary exploits.

There were also photos showing development of the DPRK.

Present there were Ju Yong Il, chairman of the association, and its officials, heads of Korean art troupes and other Koreans in Uzbekistan. The charge d'affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Tashkent were present on invitation.

Ju Yong Il said that the President founded the DPRK and the Korean people became the master of the country independently shaping their own destiny, for the first time in history.

Under the leadership of the Persident and Kim Jong Il the DPRK developed into the socialist power, independent, self-supporting and self-reliant in defense and its prestige has reached the highest phase, Ju said, adding:

We, Koreans in Uzbekistan, are convinced of the rosy future of the homeland witnessing its eye-opening reality under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The imperialist allied forces can never match the strength of the Korean people single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Un and their cause of building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification will surely be realized.

The participants looked round the photos on the revolutionary exploits of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu.

A performance was given by Korean artistes in Uzbekistan.
