At Pyongyang Railway Station the team was greeted by Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who doubles as chairman of the State Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission, Ro Tu Chol, vice-premier and chairman of the State Planning Commission who doubles as vice-chairman of the State Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission, Kim Yong Ho, secretary general of the Cabinet, and officials concerned.

Members of the team laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and made bows to them.
