U.S. Should Make Political Decision to Withdraw Its Forces from S. Korea: Commentator of Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday carries a commentator's article on the lapse of 70 years since the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces occupied south Korea on September 8, 1945 under the mask of "liberator".

The article goes on:

The U.S. occupation of south Korea can never be justified from the viewpoints of history, international law and the present trend of the times.

There is no justification for the U.S. forces to stay in south Korea.

The U.S. forces did not bring south Korea liberation but put it under colonial yoke.

The "deterrent for checking southward invasion" touted by the U.S. forces in south Korea sounds nonsensical.

The U.S. insistence on the unjustifiable policy of occupying south Korea only discloses its dirty ambition for aggression and scenario for dominating the world.

The U.S. forces in south Korea are not liberators and guardians of peace but occupiers and aggressors and military executors of the U.S. imperialists' policy to dominate south Korea and their hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The U.S. selected and occupied south Korea in the vast Asian region. This was not simply aimed to put a half of Korea under the U.S. control but to swallow up the whole of Korea and stretch its tentacles of aggression to the continent with it as a springboard and dominate the Asia-Pacific region.

The U.S. should make a political decision to withdraw its forces from south Korea. There can be no other option for the U.S.
