Congratulatory Group of Koreans in Japan Visits Mangyongdae

| Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- A congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the 67th birthday of the DPRK led by Hong In Hum, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. They laid bunches of flowers before the graves of Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik, grandparents of the President, and Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok, his parents, and paid silent tribute to them. They looked round historic relics at the old home in Mangyongdae. The head of the delegation said: Whenever I visit the old home of the President, I feel strong reverence for him. The immortal feats of the President who dedicated his whole life to the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people will shine forever. The congratulatory group also toured the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum. |
