The Indian president in the message extended warm greetings and congratulations to Kim Jong Un and people of the DPRK on behalf of the Indian government and people and on his own behalf on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the DPRK.

India greatly values the traditional friendly ties between the peoples of the two countries, the message said.

The message noted that India hoped to join the government of the DPRK in making efforts to boost bilateral cooperation in the interests of the two sides.
