The president said that he was grateful to the Korean people for the material and moral support to the people of Maldives in the past.

He expressed hope that the two countries would boost mutual cooperation in the issues for economic development in the future, too.

Hoping that the tension would be defused on the Korean Peninsula and the peaceful reunification of Korea would be achieved, he wished the Korean people fresh successes in the struggle for building a powerful country and reunifying the country.
