Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation of the Ministry of External Economic Relations led by Minister Ri Ryong Nam and from the Vietnamese side the members of the delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam led by Minister Vu Huy Hoang and Vietnamese Ambassador to the DPRK Pham Viet Hung.

The talks discussed issues of further developing the economic and trade relations between the two countries.

There also took place the inter-sector talks on investment and economic cooperation in the fields of trade, heavy, chemical and light industries and energy.

Ri Ryong Nam and Vu Huy Hoang inked the minutes of the talks.

The Vietnamese delegation took part in the briefing on investment on economic development zones and the Wonsan-Mt. Kumgang international tourist zone of the DPRK on Sept. 10 and acquainted itself with the present situation and prospect of several development zones and tourist zones.
