Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Seminars took place in Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Serbia and Benin on Sep. 7 on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK. A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party, said that thanks to the benevolent and all-embracing politics of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il the DPRK could advance along the road of socialism, consolidating as firm as a rock the politico-ideological unity and cohesion of the popular masses despite the imperialists' persistent moves to stifle it after its founding. Personages including M. Gamrul Huda, chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, said that the President's exploits would be cherished in the hearts of not only the Korean people but also other world progressives along with the century. Batric Mijovic, general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia, said that the President built the DPRK into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence and Kim Jong Il defended the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK with his Songun revolutionary leadership and turned it into an invincible socialist fortress and a nuclear weapons state. Pascal Zouncheme, rector of the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin who doubles as chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said in his report that it would be impossible to think about Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses without the President's exploits. |
