Present there were Chairman Mujahidul Islam Selim and the general secretary and other leadership members of the communist party and other people.

The meeting informed its participants of the news about the enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea guided by Comrade Kim Jong Un and the present situation on the Korean Peninsula.

A message to the Korean people was adopted at the meeting.

The message said:

The large scale joint military drills staged by the U.S. and the south Korean authorities every year are a main factor of threatening peace and security not only on the Korean Peninsula and in the region but the rest of the world.

We urge the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy toward the DPRK at once, stop annual joint military drills and replace the present Armistice Agreement by a peace accord, extending militant solidarity to the government and people of the DPRK in their efforts to protect the social system chosen by them and their sovereignty.

We strongly demand the U.S. and the south Korean authorities value the agreement reached at the north-south high-level emergency contact and immediately stop acts contrary to its implementation.
