Tax Regulations for EDP Adopted in DPRK

| Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Tax regulations for the economic development parks (EDP) were adopted according to a decision made by the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK. The regulations consist of 11 chapters and 72 articles. Defined in them are payment obligations, objects of taxation, tax rates, objects of reduction of and exemption from taxes, etc. according to different kinds of taxes like corporate income tax, individual income tax and business tax. The regulations would be conducive to correct assessment and collection of tax by tightening up the tax administration in EDP. |
