Marathon for Country's Reunification Held in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- A marathon for the country's reunification marking the 15th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration took place in Jonju, North Jolla Province on Sept. 13 under the sponsorship of the North Jolla Provincial Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News.

More than 3 000 youth and schoolchildren and citizens took part in the event.

The participants called for pooling efforts in the spirit of By Our Nation Itself to create the atmosphere of national reconciliation and cooperation and achieve the country's reunification while covering 6.15 km.
