Chongsan-ri is the historic place where President Kim Il Sung created the Chongsan-ri spirit and Chongsan-ri method, the unique idea and method of leadership over masses and a glorious land associated with the revolutionary activities of leader Kim Jong Il who provided a shining example in the building of socialist countryside, true to the noble intention of the President.

More than 10 250 000 service personnel, people from all walks of life, school youth and children, overseas compatriots and foreigners have visited the museum over the past four decades.
