Present at the meeting were officials of ministries, national institutions and media institutions, teachers and students of schools in Pyongyang including Kumsong Secondary School No. 1 and Changjon Primary School in Central District and members of missions of the international organizations here including the representative of the UNICEF.

At the event speakers said that the DPRK has put forward children as the king of the country and consistently carried out the policy of attaching importance to the future and children since its founding.

An art performance was given by schoolchildren.

The participants went round writings, drawings and embroideries on the theme of "My hope, my pride" showing the skills of Korean children and visited various rooms for hobby groups of the palace.
