They included meetings, seminars, photo and book exhibitions and film shows in Finland, Spain and Angola from September 8 to 11.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books and photos introducing the invincible might of Songun Korea.

Films shown included Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity."

The chairman of the Paektu Association of Finland in his speech said that the President was the father of socialist Korea as he led the long and arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle, rescuing the Korean people from the miserable destiny of colonial slaves and putting them forward as masters of the country.

The chairman and the international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League praised the President as an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander and the world's elder statesman as he defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation and made great contribution to the cause of global independence.

The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and other figures highly praised the nation-building exploit performed by the President and expressed belief that the Korean people would surely achieve a final victory.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the events in Finland.
