The Nigerian newspaper Nigerian Observer on September 3 in an article said:

The history of the development of the DPRK shining as a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence would have been unthinkable without the nation-building exploit performed by President Kim Il Sung.

The President built the DPRK into an independent country firmly adhering to the socialist idea and principles.

He firmly consolidated the socio-political foothold of the DPRK with his benevolent politics.

In the DPRK names of the country, the army and monumental structures are called by the word the people. Such reality would be unthinkable without the politics of the President who built the DPRK into the socialist country centred on the popular masses.

He consolidated the military foundation of the DPRK with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Egyptian paper Al-Misaiya on September 6 reported that the foundation of the DPRK, once suffered an eclipse on the world map in the past, helped it display its dignity and might as an invincible power no one dares provoke.

The paper said that the DPRK has regarded the Juche idea as its guidelines and accelerated the building of a thriving nation undeterred by any storms.

The DR Congolese newspaper L'Avenir on September 7 noted that all the people are enjoying an independent and creative life and learning to their hearts' content in the DPRK, adding that such advantageous education system is a brilliant fruition of the energetic leadership of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.
