Displayed in the venue of the exhibition were more than 1 400 musical instruments of over 50 kinds produced and manufactured by musical instruments production units, organs for art education, factories and enterprises and individual musical instruments makers, parts of instruments, articles of consumption and jigs and tools for manufacturing instruments.

There were also domestic and foreign technical information related to the production of musical instruments, and instruments displayed by overseas compatriots and foreigners.

There were experience-sharing meeting, information for science and technology and concert with national instruments and other events during the exhibition.

A closing ceremony was held at the Pyongyang International House of Culture Friday.

Present there were Kim Tok Hun, vice-premier, Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture, officials, researchers, teachers and students of relevant fields and units that presented instruments, overseas Koreans and foreigners who presented musical instruments to the exhibition.
