Cuban Paper Introduces DPRK
Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The Cuban paper Granma on Sept. 9 carried an article titled "Wishes for peace and progress" on the occasion of the 67th founding anniversary of the DPRK, illustrated with a photo showing the atmosphere on the anniversary.

It admits of no argument that since the founding of the DPRK, its independent people have made many achievements in various fields despite the imperialists' ceaseless moves for aggression and difficult circumstances, the paper said, and went on:

Korea which had groaned under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists, was divided into two parts by big powers after the end of World War II.

Under the leadership of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung the Korean people started the building of an independent state and emerged genuine masters of the state politics.

The 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the DPRK was marked recently, the paper said, adding: Comrade Kim Jong Un received a state delegation of the Republic of Cuba headed by Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first vice-president of the Council of State and first vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, during its visit to the DPRK.

The DPRK is leading all the people to victory while invariably adhering to its ideology, the paper concluded.
