360 Civic and Social Bodies of South Korea Stage Sit-in Strike

| Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- 360 civic and social organizations of south Korea including the Confederation of Trade Unions, Bar Association for Democratic Society and the Solidarity for Progress held a press conference in Seoul on September 17 before launching a sit-in strike against the authorities' anti-workers policy, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea. At the press conference speakers said the authorities agreed on the retrogressive bill on labor market restructuring and through this the "government" openly clarified that it is the regime for the capitalists and declared a war against the people. They expressed their will to struggle to the last together with workers and other masses against the "government." |
