Unreasonable Discrimination against Human Rights of Part-time Workers Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- At least 100 cleaning workers of the "government" building in Sejong City, south Korea held a rally in Seoul on Sept. 17 to denounce the authorities' unreasonable policy of discriminating part-time workers, Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea, said.

The authorities' refusal to properly pay them for being part-time workers is a serous human rights issue, they charged.

They underlined the need to settle the issue of discriminating part-time workers through the improvement of treatment of cleaning workers.

During the rally representatives thrust a written protest carrying demands of workers to Chongwadae.
