The September issue of the Russian paper Serp I Molot said in an article illustrated with the photo of the national emblem of the DPRK:

President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948, 3 years after the liberation of the Korean people from the more than 40 year long-colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists.

The Korean people have accelerated socialist construction by their own efforts despite the anti-DPRK moves of the U.S.-led imperialists.

Under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il, the DPRK turned into a satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state.

It is fully demonstrating its might as a powerful socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The Venezuelan paper Vea on September 9 dedicated one whole page to an article titled "DPRK, people's country" illustrated with the photo showing the happy Korean children.

The paper said that the DPRK which is guided by the Juche idea called people-first idea is a genuine people's country.
