The paper said that the DPRK dynamically advanced the cause of independence against imperialism, holding aloft the red flag at a time when socialism was frustrated in different countries and the imperialist allied forces became ever more undisguised in their moves to stifle the DPRK late in the last century. It went on:

The Korean revolution has made a victorious advance despite great difficulties and trials thanks to the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) founded by President Kim Il Sung, developed by leader Kim Jong Il and is being steered by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

No formidable enemy can ever bring the DPRK to its knees as long as there are the leadership of the WPK, unity and cohesion of the popular masses and the Korean People's Army equipped with nuclear deterrence.

The paper called for waging a positive campaign for supporting the DPRK standing at the outpost of confrontation with imperialism.
