Ri Jong Man, managing director of the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, said the U.S., which has inflicted all misfortune on the Korean nation for seven decades since the division of the Korean nation, is laying an obstacle in the way of improving the relations between the north and the south.

Kim Yong Ju, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, noted that the Korean youth and students in Japan will take the lead in the drive for smashing the U.S. moves to hamstring the efforts to improve the inter-Korean relations and paving a wide avenue to independent reunification this significant year by the concerted efforts of the Koreans.

Ri Yong Su, chairman of the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, said that the U.S. has put pressure on the south Korean authorities in a bid to put a brake in the wheel of inter-Korean dialogue and improvement of the relations whenever an atmosphere of improving relations between the north and the south was created.
