Hwang Myong, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, said whenever an atmosphere of improving the north-south relations was created, the U.S. prodded the south Korean authorities into deliberately chilling it.

Pu Yong Uk, chairperson of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, underlined the need to thoroughly smash the U.S. interference and obstructions to improving the inter-Korean relations.

Kim Sang Il, chairman of the Kyoto Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said the U.S. is the chieftain of the division of the Korean nation and a cancer-like entity which has persistently sought escalation of tension and confrontation only on the Korean Peninsula in a bid to permanently occupy south Korea.

So Chun Won, chairperson of the Aichi Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, noted that the U.S. is making desperate efforts to build up a negative opinion about the DPRK and drive a wedge between the north and the south.
