A meeting and photo exhibition were held in Sweden, roundtable talks in DR Congo, roundtable talks, book and photo exhibition and film show in Iran on September 6 and 7.

On display in the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and other books and photos showing the efforts of the Korean people to build a thriving socialist nation.

The Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was screened at the film show.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said the foundation of the DPRK was a historical event which laid a foundation for reunification of Korea and its independence, prosperity, peace and stability.

The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo said the DPRK has firmly maintained the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliance in national defence by fully embodying the Juche idea in all fields of the state activities.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in Sweden.
