Anniversary of WPK To Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) was formed in Ulyanovsk Region, Russia on September 22. Aleksandr Kruglikov, chairman of the "Jongilbong" Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Ulyanovsk Region, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee fixed the celebration period from Sept. 22 and Oct. 11 and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events including a seminar and a lecture praising exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. |
