The U.S. is running the whole gamut of intrigues to hinder the trend of the improvement of the inter-Korean relations created after the north-south high-level urgent contact, the statement said, and went on:

The U.S. is straining the situation on the Korean Peninsula by making criminal provocations.

There will be no de-escalation of tension on the Korean Peninsula and the improvement of the north-south relations if the U.S. interference and obstructive maneuvers are allowed.

The inter-Korean relations should be improved under the banner of the Korean Nation Itself free from any interference of foreign forces.
